Summary |
Katya is an outstanding ballet talent. She is training hard to audition for the New York Ballet Academy and has a good chance of getting a scholarship. But when she meets a group of street dancers, a whole new world opens up to her. In contrast to classical ballet, street dance is free, explosive, and without rules - the laws of gravity seem to be suspended. Katya's heart catches fire with the new style that allows her to express all her emotions, and with the introverted Marlon, a gifted hip-hop dancer. He recognizes her dancing potential and encourages her to take part in an audition with the world-famous street dance crew - the Sonic Tigers. Katya immerses herself in a previously unknown and carefree lifestyle of community and spontaneity. She suspects she can't go back to ballet, but her father, a famous ballet star, sees it differently. Katya wants to follows the dance of her heart - will she make the jump? Source: DVD |
