Summary The paintings on the walls of the Leipzig Museum of Fine Arts (MdbK) show numerous depictions of women: muses and mothers, wives, saints and prostitutes. For centuries, the majority of these portraits were painted, collected and exhibited by men. Instead of veteran experts, a group of girls between the ages of seven and 19 are now guiding us through the museum. They describe their impressions and perceptions, question representations and put them into context. Source: DVD.
